Membership Terms & Conditions

These Membership Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the membership program THE SALON operated by Hot Mindfulness ("we," "us," or "our"). By applying for, purchasing, or participating in the membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not apply for or participate in the membership.

1. Purpose of the Membership

The membership is a curated, time-bound experience designed to facilitate meaningful connections between members through guided matching, community spaces, and shared experiences. While we design the program with care and intention, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, including friendships, relationships, or personal results.

Participation is voluntary and based on personal choice.

2. Eligibility & Application

Membership is available to individuals who:

  • Are at least 18 years old

  • Provide accurate and complete information during the application process

  • Are accepted into the membership at our discretion

We reserve the right to accept or decline applications to protect the quality, safety and values of the community.

3. Membership Structure (3-Month Chapters)

  • Membership runs in fixed three-month chapters ("Chapter").

  • Your Chapter begins on the start date communicated to you upon acceptance.

  • At the end of each Chapter, your membership automatically renews for the next three-month Chapter unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Details of renewal timing and pricing are provided at checkout and in your confirmation email.

4. Payments & Auto-Renewal

  • Membership fees are payable in advance.

  • By purchasing a membership, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the initial Chapter and any subsequent auto-renewals.

  • You are responsible for ensuring your payment information remains valid and up to date.

If payment cannot be processed, we may suspend or terminate your access to the membership.

5. No Cancellations & No Refunds

Because the membership involves advance planning, curation, and matching work:

  • All sales are final.

  • No cancellations are permitted once a Chapter has started.

  • Membership is a three-month commitment; you may cancel future chapters but not mid-chapter.

  • No refunds are offered for unused time, missed participation, or early termination by the member.

This applies regardless of personal circumstances, availability, or level of engagement.

6. Rematch Option

  • Members may request one (1) rematch within the first 30 days of their Chapter.

  • Rematches are subject to availability and are granted at our discretion.

  • A rematch does not reset the Chapter timeline.

  • We do not guarantee compatibility or specific outcomes following a rematch.

7. Member Conduct & Community Standards

To protect the integrity of the community, members agree to:

  • Treat others with respect, kindness, and consideration

  • Maintain confidentiality of other members’ personal information

  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior

  • Avoid solicitation, promotion, or commercial activity within the membership

  • Show up on time and consistently for their private Circle meetings

Violation of these standards may result in removal from the membership without refund.

8. Right to Refuse or Remove Members

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • Refuse participation

  • Suspend or terminate membership

  • Remove access to community spaces

This may occur if a member violates these Terms, community standards, or acts in a way that undermines the safety or values of the group.

9. Changes to the Membership

We may evolve the structure, format, or content of the membership over time to improve the experience. Any material changes will be communicated via our website or email.

Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Guarantees

The membership is not therapy or counselling.

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • The formation of friendships or relationships

  • Emotional outcomes or personal growth

  • Compatibility between members

Each member is responsible for their own decisions, boundaries, and interactions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Austrian law:

  • Participation is at your own risk.

  • We are not liable for actions, communications, or interactions between members, whether online or offline.

  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the membership.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the current Chapter.

12. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Members are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others within the community.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Austria, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
